We chose Highlands for our wedding at Skyline Lodge, and our family stayed here. The house and studio were exactly as described and provided a perfect setup for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids.
We had a fantastic time celebrating our mom’s 70th birthday at this lovely home. It was incredibly spacious with excellent outdoor areas, and the communication with the host was top-notch. The house comfortably accommodated our group of 7 adults and 6 girls with the triple bunk beds being a real hit!
We celebrated our 40th anniversary with a family gathering in May, bringing together my wife, our four adult sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven grandkids ranging from 7 months to 8 years old. We traveled from Gainesville, Jacksonville, Niceville, and Pensacola, Florida, and everything exceeded our expectations. The kids had a blast with the game room and zip line, while we enjoyed hiking to our favorite waterfalls and discovering new ones. The Highland fireworks were a highlight, and we were impressed by the home's beautiful decor and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. The five oldest grandkids especially enjoyed sharing the bunk room. The large decks were perfect for family time and offered plenty of space for everyone to relax and have their own private areas. Communication with Marty and John was smooth and efficient. We loved our time in Highlands, and the house, along with the garage apartment for our two bachelor sons, suited our family perfectly. We’re likely to return in the future.
We had a wonderful week with family in this beautiful home, which had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils, and spices. Both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces created cozy spaces for gathering, and the house was spacious and private. Marty was always responsive and helpful, making our stay seamless. We created memories that we’ll cherish forever!
