Located beside babbling Glade Creek, Hideaway at High Rock is a 2-bedroom, 2- bathroom cabin. Our cabin accommodates up to 6 people comfortably and yes, we are pet-friendly! This means all furry friends are welcome here! With the seclusion, this place would be perfect for a romantic getaway for couples or a weekend family getaway!
Our kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials that you may need during your stay. There is also plenty of countertop space and extra wiggle room for you throughout the kitchen area as well.
The living room gives off an extremely cozy atmosphere. We have a couch, two chairs, a gas fireplace, and a flat screen tv. Imagine yourself having a nice movie night with your loved ones!
The sleeping arrangements include two master suites with two full-size king beds with a private attached bathroom! The first bathroom has a jetted garden tub, a full-size shower, and a double vanity. While the second bathroom has a spacious shower and another double vanity. If you are planning on bringing kids or extra guests, we do have a pull-out queen-size sofa bed for your convenience!
Hideaway at High Rock has an extraordinary outdoor area that you and your guests will love! We have an outside canopy that would be great for taking mid-day naps while soaking up the sun or simply reading a book as you enjoy the nature around you.
On the lower level of our cabin, we offer a game room with a flat-screen tv, a pool table with a Ping Pong conversion top, and foosball!

Now if you are looking to really submerge yourself into nature, we suggest visiting the Pisgah National Forest. Here you will be able to experience some breathtaking views and walk on the many trails that this National Forest offers!

Absolutely Love it. We have been staying at High Rock rentals since April 2021. We stayed at Timber ridge with a larger group of friends the first time and the second time at Hideaway with a smaller group. Absolutely loved every minute of being their property. We always have so much fun going on trails and hiking. So much fun making fires outside and enjoying the hot tub!! Young couple

Marvelous! What a marvelous place! We stayed at Hideaway for two weeks after Thanksgiving. It was magical. The cabin was well appointed and ideally situated for our family of four (plus a dog who now regards herself as something of a mountain lion). The kitchen is well supplied. The kids (four and eight) sledded down the back hill, stomped in the creek, hiked the trails, created an excellent mud/snow kitchen and even played small-field soccer in the grass behind the cabin. This was the perfect COVID hideaway with Black Mountain and Asheville conveniently close. Though we are flatlanders from Florida, we did not have any problems navigating the gravel road with our front-wheel drive minivan. For the day and a half it snowed, we simply planned ahead, stocked up and enjoyed the winter wonderland. The internet/WiFi was fast and reliable, which allowed us to stay current with work and school. Mike and his team and family were unfailingly responsive, helpful and kind. The most important review comes from our kids, who are begging us to return next year. Family with young children
